Check out that batt cable, wheel speed sensors, and finally the ABS module. If you are the 1st owner, call Saab Cust Service. Report this (common, yet possibly expensive repair) to them. MAybe you can get some $$ help. Search for DIY ABS Module on this site if you have to replace the module w/ your own $$. It's easy. FYI. I had the same symptoms. Eventually the outages grew longer, the CEL came on, and performance took a dive.
