The "Anti-Lock" light and the Hazard Triangle are now illuminated in my 2001 Aero with 7000 miles on it. I was driving the car and parked for a few minutes. Then restarted it and now those two lights are illuminated. I checked the manual and it says that the car needs to be immediately serviced b/c the air bag may either NOT deploy correctly, or much scarier yet, MAY DEPLOY WHILE DRIVING!

I frankly cannot believe that this is occuring after owning the car for 6 months with 7k miles on it.

Does anybody have any experience with this? What is the service that is required -- I assume it is under warrant. However, it is a major inconvenience to drop the car at the dealer and pick it up again. I thought one of the benefits of a new car was that dumb little annoying things such as this are minimized as opposed to driving my 1990 900 Turbo where all sorts of annoyances seem to be popping up.

Any advice?
