Window Goes down but not up - Power Window Question

Today driving home from NYC to Boston, we stopped at a restaurant and rolled down the drivers side window on my 2000 9-5 2.3. When I tried to roll it up, nothing happened...no sound, no movement. It would continue to roll down.
Fortunately we were near a staples so I bought some cardboard and tape and drove another 150 miles to Boston without freezing my family (I have a new blower motor that also needs to be installed!).
Any thoughts if this is the switch or the motor? Any simple tests?
Thanks
