Gislaved dimension specifications ?? and a warning

Greetings, All,
We were running Bridgestone 215/60-16" all-seasons on my wife's 2005 9-5 with no clearance issues. This half-size up was for better protection against bent rims. Unfortunately, one of the Saab optional 10-spoke rims still bent at the flange, not at the lip.
I got a set of the ugly wide-three-spoke 6.5"x16" rims from a 9-3 and mounted Gislaved 215/65-16" Frost 3, hoping to get a bit more protection from potholes. Bad decision. These Gislaveds are HUGE; much more than a half-size larger than the 215/60 Bridgestones. They hit the fender liners on moderate bumps.
Be forewarned, unless you see it on the tire manufacturers own website, don't trust the diameters, rolling radius and revs/mile you see posted here and on other sites. They are only approximations and may not hold true for a particular tire. In theory, the 215/65 should have been only a 10.75mm (less than 1/2") increase in height over a 215/60. Because of the different construction and the thicker tread of these Gislaved snow tires, they turned out to be more than 30mm (way over an inch) taller.
Finally, Gislaved's web site does not seem to have specifications on it. Has anyone seen height, rolling radius or revs-per-mile for the Frost3 ?
thnx, jv.
