If you compare both tests you will
notice that one takes over a minute
and the other around 20 seconds.
I would consider the one that is longer
to be more relevant then the short test.
Overall however it is clear that something
like an EVO6 or EVO7 or STi will simply
do well on a track that is nothing but turns
and the Porsche GT will do better where
it can benefit from its higher speeds.
Same applies to real life... cause the Aero
eats some of the cars tested on the Autobahn
where braking and slower speed turns are not around...
For example a ClioRS is no match for an Aero on the
Bahn and even S3s and TTs are not a problem... but
of course if you add a lots of turns everything
is put into perspective as brakes, traction and
all comes into account.
And for that kind of stuff... well cars that have
a Rally heritage all seem to do quite well like
the Subrau WRX that beats both the S3 and TT
and the STi will hamer these even more...
Regards,
Coolknight
