I'm not sure if my last post was accepted so I shall try again. I recently bought a 99 saab 9-5, nice car, i enjoy it, but i'm having some trouble with some lighting issues.
1.The high beam indicator light on the dash won't work. I noticed it when my left high beam stopped working. Im quessing from other posts that its probably the orange relay, but does that cause the indicator light to shut off.
2. The car chimes when the door is open and the key is out of ignition. head lights are not on when I open the door. Its like it senses the key still in the ignition. Is this supposed to happen? If so then the question changes to sometimes the car does not chime when I open the door without the key in the ignition.
3.lastly the seat belt warning light turns off sometimes when its not supposed to. I can fool with it and make it right but its still kinda funny.
All these things aren't too important to me, i care more for car performance. I just want to make sure nothing like the central computers going or something like that. Please offer some help!

ohh and lastly, the check engine light flashed on the other day when i was fooling with the highbeam. It came an along with the info display for the front light failure, but turned off when i restarted the car. im assuming nothing to worry about since it turned off right away?
