I had the same choice last spring. I have an '01 9-5 Aero, came with four new Dunlop (not so good in every way...) summer tires when they did the CPO. I'm in western NY State (lots of snow...) and I immediately got a set of Hakka's on steel wheels for the winters.
When the Dunlops wore out (only got about 20K out of them...) I looked at the postings here and on the Tire Rack site. I finally decided to get the Nokian Z's which were a BIG deal to find: no one had any in stock - and a couple of their "dealers" told me with a straight face that they were "discontinued!" ALL of these "dealers" wanted to charge me for shipping.
Tire Rack prices were nothing special when I added in shipping and mounting locally. Ended up buying a set from my local Saab dealer, $732 including mounting/balancing, disposal of old tires, no shipping charges.
Excellent tires. Fairly quiet, really GREAT traction and cornering, attractive design. Good in the rain, too. Eco-friendly construction.
If you can't find the Z's, contact the Nokian "factory" in Tennessee. Very helpful. My general feeling is that many dealers stock the Nokian Hakka's for the winters, but don't bother with the summer tires due to a general lack of demand. Nokian's marketing efforts for these tires don't seem very aggressive, at least in North America. BTW, being directional tires, the Nokian Z's can only be rotated front to back, if that makes any difference to you.
