It's my turn. Fuel pump whine.

I've never been able to hear the fuel pump in my 2002 SAAB 9-5 but after my car sat for 3 days while we went to the Coast, the pump is now whining. It's real noticable at an idle and then as speed increases along with road noise, it's pretty much drowned out. At an idle, the frequency of the whine changes if I load down the electrical system such as running the rear window defroster, heated seats, fog lights, etc. My vehicle has 67,000 miles and is CPO'ed until August. Any luck with the Dealer replacing the pump under the CPO? Or is it something I'll have to live with?
