Bought my wagon and first upgrade was $80 kit and it sounds great when it is clean, but my mpg on linear wagon 99, has only been 28.4 at my highest, and that was on 93 octane. Ever 2 weeks I get mt two knucleheads for the weekend and that drive is 360 from here and back, and I only go 70mph. 27.1 using 89 octane is solid average since Jan this year. I am also weary of water getting sucked up the K&N filter, there are pretty big puddles of water on the road, so I might put back my stock and get another type of filter to put there, hoping to get to 30 mpg territory and when it floods here in San Antonio, I wont suck in too much water. Any one has tried both and gotten 3 to 4 mpg difference?
