the procedure is to loosen the cross pin bolts, where applicable, rotate the bolt then re-torque to specs Since my car is new and never been in the wet or other wise inspection for corrosion and freedom of the bolts was not necessary. The Tech stated that some cars are so badly corroded that the bolts won't turn and must be driven out and replaced along with the bushings. There is a clamp-up bushing, Steel sleve, and if it is frozen to the bolt re-torque will not fix the problem. He also said he had found some suspensions where the end of the bolt with the nut had sheared off. and because the bolt was frozen to the clamp up sleve the suspension continued to function.
