I, too, thought I liked the old dash layout better, but the truth is the new controls are much simpler and easier to use. The SID is controlled on the steering wheel and is in your line of sight in the instrument cluster. The radio is actually more versatile than the old one and comes with XM now. The climate controls do the job just as well as the old system, albeit without the visual display of the old one. The only thing I miss is the auto recirculation feature of the old system. It was good in stop and go traffic.
