Looks is obviously a personal preference, but in the event that you ever damage yours(hope you do not),you[ll probably be able to pick up a replacement on E-Bay real cheap.A lot of them are being swapped at the dealers for the wood.Personally,I think that Saab went this direction after seeing that a lot of other cars are starting to use small bits of this trim material as surrounds for other types of surface materials, and when faced with totally redesigning the dash in this manner,or just putting a large sheeet of it in place of wood, choose the later. I think that as an accent material,it might be OK, but to look at the vast expanse of metal in front of you with no other material to break up the look, it is just too overwhelming.
