I completely agree with your logic and i am a DIY'er but I do have my limits. Is a DIC replacement or throttle body replacment something that requires pulling half the engine out or a special tool(s) or anything beyond an average sized tool box with a garage and maybe a free saturday?
I wasnt aware Autozone could pull Saab codes. My local repair shop once told me without TechII he could go nowhere.
