Hi,
I just finished a little trip in my wife's 2000 9-5 wagon with a 2.3t and 5-speed. The SID showed 9.5 mpg! The car mormally gives 19.5 in town and 30 on the road. The 9,5 MPG was after driving about 1/4 tank. I saw that the trip odometer was at 100 miles, which jibes with our normal fuel consumption. Anyone else have this problem? Possible cause?
I drove the car for about 20 miles tonight (gently) and the milage on the SID soared to 10.0 mpg.
Drive Safe,
Joe
