We live in Beaverton Oregon and took the car yesterday to Newport Oregon (coastal town) via I-5 and then highway 20, did some sightseeing (2 lighthouses, Aquarium, and drove around at the Fisherman's Wharf) and then drove along the Coast to Tillamook Oregon (Famous Tillamook Cheese). Visited another lighthouse and drove home to Beaverton via highway 6. Total of 3 people in the car, trunk full of stuff. Filled up today after driving 20 miles round-trip to work. Mathematically came out to 320 miles at 27.82 MPG. That doesn't seem bad for a V6? Used the air conditioner about 1/3 of the trip. Ever since I flushed the cooling system with Simple-Green last week, it appears my coolant loss has ceased. No explanation on that? Holding my breath. Sure got lots of oily crude and sand-like stuff out flushing it.
