I swear, it is only a matter of time before every classic failure happens to my car. In the last 16 months it has been throttle body, DIC, SID, shredded (brand new) serpentine belt, and today was the obligatory sudden coolant leak. A quick search and the results pointed to the coolant by pass valve.

The good news is that I found a new source for parts, and in this case the part was even cheaper than eEuro. Their OEM part is $85.71, and I found it for $60 at "Saab USA parts." They are a spin off / division of the Saab dealer I go to in Norwell, MA. Their shipping seems a little high, but I was able to pick it up. They have lots of nice accessories too.

Installing the part was not that much fun - B. Millar referred a while back to the coolant spilling all over the place, and boy was he right! Also, getting the hose clamps off wasn't too bad, but getting them back on I found to be extremely difficult. I must have big hands because I found working in that area to be quite tight.

What's next? I'm guessing ABS module...?
