I have a '00 Aero 30k miles (now have 105k) -- and it's *just now* starting to cost me some real money in repairs. I thought I'd maintained my vehicle fairly well in terms of oil changes, etc., but--I'll probably have had to spend 3 grand this year on repairs (though some of this money was spent on "maintenance" parts like brakes, tires, SID, DIC, battery, etc.) I'm hoping all the work done on it this year will pay dividends over the next two--but it's unchartered and unguaranteed territory and I'm not at all confident in my decision. Perhaps at your mileage point the previous owner had replaced some of the parts I'm replacing now (I just did the water pump) -- you should have a very qualified mechanic go over it with a comb.
If you can get it that cheap it sounds like you can't really go wrong--but know you can hit 3 and 4 grand in repairs without too much trouble at this mileage point if you need a shop to do the work.
