...whether you removed and replaced ONE bolt AT A TIME, following the normal headbolt tightening sequence?
If you removed all the bolts and then replaced them en masse, this can be dangerous because a) The head can warp as a result and b) by releasing all the pressure on the head gasket, it can shift, crack or simply establish new leaks.
If you didn't, you might not need to worry, given the loose head bolts you had to start with anyway. But "best practice" would probably be to remove one bolt, tighten it, then move on to the next, following the spiral headbolt tightening sequence.
You probably did so, but I thought it might be good to clarify for anyone else reading this thread who might be contemplating the same repair.
Hope Miami loses this week. New England has definitely earned a playoff opportunity.
