...is great for a $500 Honda. You know, the one you're reluctant to spend money on duct tape to fix the bumper?

In a car worth any serious money, don't gamble. This product, though praised to the sky by many, has been known to "fix" leaks that aren't leaks. Like heater cores and other small coolant passages, for instance.

Occasionally it's thought this product actually kills otherwise healthy cooling systems. Which is why I'll go down fighting and screaming, "never use BL unless you absolutely have to and your car isn't worth any money." ABSOLUTELY NEVER use it as a "preventative" measure, unless again we're talking about your 1982 Accord with a mostly-bondo body.

I have one 9000 buddy who is sure BL clogged his heater core and ultimately led to head gasket failure. His mechanic agrees, and so do I.
