Mine did - was a leaky oil pressure sensor that leaks though the backing.
The sensor is a simple screw in plug with a wire coming out the back.
This sensor is at the back of the engine under the inlet manifold.
Mine leaked at the wire & dripped oil directly onto the cat & vaporized.
The heater fan sucked this smelly air into the cabin.
The sensor is easy to change but not too easy to get at.
If you have small hands & can work blind you can remove it without anything else ( make sure the engine is completly cold or you will burn yourself). Othwise you will need to remove the starter to gain access.
The part is fairly cheap .. maybe $40 if I remember correctly.
