I just pulled my pump and found the baffle lying flat in the tank. I pulled it out. It had broken. To see if your sender is broken check the resistance on the sender wires after fill up. Two wires are for the pump and two are for the sender. If I remember correctly it is the black and the white wire. It should read around 400 then run it down to almost empty and it should read 30 to 80 ohms. This will tell you if the sender is reading changes. When you take your pump out there is a raised mark / line on the pump that you line up with a simular line/mark on the tank. This alignment is so the float is in the correct place. My dash unit is not working so any advice there would be welcome.
