I didn't mean to be so brief in my last post. I figured I would try to help out as much as I can because I went through your exact problem on my V6. The valves' hoses have quick-connect ends on them, so you can squeeze the plastic end to release the clip and pull the hose off the valve. It's tight in there and you have to pull really hard. I scraped up my knuckles pretty well. Then once the hose is off stick your finger in the hole like the picture below. It should come out clean. If it comes out all sooty like the picture you found your problem.
I only got to replace the front valve before I sold the car. I'm not sure if you're a big DIY'er but if you decide to replace them yourself you will need the valves, part number 4571162, and the gaskets that go with them, part number 4571279. WIS told me to take the whole SAI rail off the exhaust manifold. Yeah right. The bolt on the heat shield alone was rusted on, I wasn't going to be able to get the rail off without doing damage. So with some extensions and a universal joint on my socket wrench I came up from under the car and my father guided the socket onto the nut. I found out the hard way that the valves are made of really soft aluminum and it literally takes no force to strip the threads in the valve housing. They just turned to powder. I had to re-tap the hole. Good luck and I hope you fix your problem! For what it's worth I saved a lot of money by getting a used SAI pump from East Coast Auto in California. I had a great experience with them. Great service and the shipping was reasonable all the way to Connecticut.
