I've only had a few problems with my family's aero (2000). A strut or something in the front left suspension was terribly noisy so it was replaced 2 weeks after aquiring the vehicle, a week later the same happened on the right, fixed immediately. There have been no problems with suspension since then. They also may have replaced the springs just in case, but it was a while ago, so i don't remember exactly. The rear view mirror had a citrus color and was very sligthly dimmed always, never changing under any light conditions so it was replaced. Now the mirror loose but the cause of that is unknown. The car goes through headlight bulbs rather quickly but i'm learning that isn't all that uncommon, so i've had the DRl's disabled to compensate, so far so good. There are 20k miles on it as of yesterday. Sorry to hear about your car, hopefully there are lemon laws that can help you out. Good luck with your Aero.
