About 2000k on mine Posted by Carlo [Email] (#356) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Carlo) on Tue, 7 Apr 2009 10:45:46 In Reply to: Koni FSD anyone?, Kurt, Mon, 6 Apr 2009 19:03:32 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I installed them on my '03 AERO and love the improved ride. Mind you, I have 120k on the car and the ones I replaced were original, long overdue.
I do a lot of freeway driving so canyon-cutting was not my goal here. They are very compliant on LA freeways (not even close to Detroit freeways, I lived there for a few years) yet they firm up nicely one you corner or tap the brakes to pre-load for an aggressive turn.
Install was easy. Like Herb, I too got mine from TireRack. Once shipping and tax were calculated, they were very close in price to Genuine.
If you want a cut above stock comfort and ride quality, go for the FDS. If you want a more aggressive ride, don't.
I hope this helps!
GO RED WINGS!!!!
