Tire wear on one side of car?

Had my snows changed out last week - after all, it's almost May in western NY State - and I had noticed some really bad scalloping on 2 tires, which the tech confirmed when he began to work on the 9-5.
I bought a set of Nokian Z's 2 years ago, and have put a total of about 10K miles on them since then - I run Hakka's in the winters. I had a full alignment done when I bought the Z's.
The two tires on the right side of the car are essentially shot! When they removed the snows, there wasn't any real difference, in terms of wear, between the right and let side snow tires.
Nokian Z's are directional tires, so they've only been rotated front to rear once since new.
Last summer I had the rear shocks replaced - both leaking. Otherwise, nothing has been done to the suspension.
Anyone have any ideas as to how this one-sided wear could occur? Defective tires? The master tech - who has worked on my cars for years - couldn't see anything wrong with the car or suspension last week. I bought these tires at the Saab dealer, so maybe there's some room for assistance of some sort.
TIA for your ideas!
