You can also unplug the connector at the front sensor and clean the connections. When my front sensor failed the pins in the wire were corroded away. I replaced the sensor and wire and works fine. I believe the Tech II can tell you which of the sensors is bad. Also, I don't believe that WD-40 cleans corrosion as much as it's used to displace moisture. Try electrical contact cleaner, which you can buy in any auto parts store. Good Luck.
