That was in my thoughts, just wasn't sure if was OK for that application, I do know much pricing for genuine Saab parts as simple o-rings and washers are out of sight for the products, I shopped alot for the parts for my rebuld and it took time, but I saved a bit..
The fuel injectors look somewhat carboned up on cylinder/spray end tips, can they be cleaned off the car now before I reassemble? or should I leave well enough alone and just to run Techron through it after I get it all back together?
Also in reference to #1 cylinder oil leaks and adding sealant around that area when installing head gasket, do you seal both sides of gasket and is sealant you recommend Locktite 518 or other?
Last question on my mind at the moment, the wire at the intake pressure sensor had 2 melted wires at the top of connector, not melted badly but about 1/4" bare wire exposed. Any idea what would cause that? It's an expensive sensor to just replace, does it go bad often? Can it be/how to test or cleaned?
This board has been a wealth of information for me.. Many thanks..
