Dexcool is not "corrosive". It is, however, lacking in silicates. What that means is if the cooling system sucks in air (Saabs do not) the iron parts will oxidize and the cooling system will fill with brown sludge. It also means that with a water pump so poorly designed that there is cavitation (Saab's water pumps are not) the blades will erode.
As for the question at hand: G05 and Dexcool both use "organic acid technology" (OAT) inhibitors, and in that sense they are pretty much compatible. I wouldn't worry about the little bit of Dexcool that's left after 3 drain and fills. Or even two. G05 (and the G48 "blue stuff" that Saab used before '02) is based on sebacic acid (from animal fat, I think) while Dexcool is based on "carboxylate", whatever that is. Supposedly the Dexcool is more stable and long lived, with life expectancies ranging from 5 years/150,000 miles (as per the Havoline bottle) to forever (as per the Saab owner's manual). G05 is recognized as a "3 year" coolant.
Personally, I wouldn't (and didn't) switch to G05. I would (and did) change the Dexcool every 4 or 5 years, though.
