Question about adding Tel1 to 2005 9-5 Posted by scott47 [Email] (#119) [Profile/Gallery] (more from scott47) on Sat, 6 Jun 2009 19:17:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 2005 9-5 with factory Navigation that I'm trying to install a Motorola IHF1000 Bluetooth adapter in. I didn't order a Tel1 kit because I thought the 2005 9-5's were supposed to have it built in. Mine doesn't appear to. My car does not have OnStar. Also there are no wires coming out of wiring adapter that plugs into the back of the Navigation unit (pins 7, 8 and 16 of the "B" plug are described as being used by the phone).
Do I need to use the 32025900 "Adapter harness, mobile phone" Saab part? The reason I ask is because the Saab guide (found at: http://www.saabdocs.com/) lists this as applicable to the Model year 2006 and greater for the 9-5 model and mine is a 2005. I'm hoping this is the right part but if anyone has run into this before or has any suggestions please let me know.
Thanks!
Scott
