I have the V-6 and it has been fine so far after 44,000 miles, no problems at all, just the ECU recall done quickly and at no cost. The V6 is smoother than the 4 cyl. but it does use more gas. It is much more responsive the the standard 4, especially from a stop. Not everyone likes the growl it makes when accelerating hard, I do. I think both engines are fine from a reliability point of view; you should drive them and draw your own conclusions about performance. Have fun ;>)
