Power Brake Vacuum Booster Line

The T in the vacuum line leading from the intake manifold to the power brake booster and something else (vacuum pump) broke while replacing the thermostat. I've got it kluged together, but need to replace it. The questions:
1. Is the fitting in the intake manifold just a press fit, or is there some other type of connection that needs special handling to keep from breaking something?
2. Ditto for the fitting where the line connects to the hose from the vacuum pump.
