I would try to more precisely locate your leak. Try clean the area with brake cleaner and then spray with white primer or foot powder, and the leak should be easier to trace. Common leaks in that area are cracked oil separator box - cracks at point it goes into block. Also keep in mind a front crank seal leak will throw oil to distant places, courtesy of the spinning pulley and belt.
For the head gasket concern you could try retorque.
Check also the cam chain tensioner o ring (need a mirror or camera - i use my cell phone camera). Leak could be there.
Now if the turbo was flowing a lot of oil it could be leaking out at the air inlet to the throttle body and migrating down from there. Do check if there is fresh oil on the outside of the throttle body. (I had this and the oil flowed to the inderside of the intake manifold, on to the head / block interface, and down to the bottom of the PCV separator box, and on to the driveway from there.
Regarding the PCV, I think is inexpensive to redo the #6 kit. I would however check the check valves first. I just bought a set of genuine Saab PCV hoses and the check valve was defective.
As the car is in kit from now, I would replace both crank seals and the oil pump also, and the vacuum hoses, and the hood emblem ( that was a feeble attempt at a joke!).
For the low oil pressure, there are really no short cuts, and at 100k+ the turbo may have been the last straw, but other things are getting ready to cry for attention. Definitely follow advice from JImmy and check the bearings for void space.
Good luck.
chris
