Not really. Proper HID setups are supposed to use a projector-style lens to reduce glare. I actually have to aim my headlights down quite a bit because Xenons in a reflector housing generate a lot of glare that's offensive to oncoming traffic. As a result my low-beams don't go as far. They get the job done though, and the only thing keeping me from going back to a good set of halogen bulbs is that the Xenons look amazing.
