What is the general rule when deciding if a hood should be replaced, or whether it should be repaired, following a minor accident?
In the old days one would replace metal that was creased, fix it if dented. Still true?
Apparently this person couldn't see around his dog in his truck cab, and so he kindly backed into my driver's side headlight and hood. Looks like the headlight assembly and the sidelight assemply are toast, but the Xenon itself is ok. Hood crunched in just above that seam, looks like The Hulk punched it on the headlight area.
thanks,
schpank
