So I somehow managed to knock the cam lock out from between 1-2 cam sprockets while attempting to fit the belt. #1 sprocket didn't move, I was holding it with the belt, but #2 sprocket spun clockwise about 180 degrees.
Needless to say I am a little upset at myself. I assume there's no remedy for this?
The lesson here is: be damn sure you know what you're doing before ruining your 9-5. And also, verify replacement or replace the timing stuff if you buy a V6!!
