shimming
i did over 12 hours of research on this subject and i do agree that shimming helps but it is not the solution. it appears that there is a design flaw on the rear axle of the saab 9.5 that causes this condition.
after taking the car to 3 different dealers ,all of them told me that they had the solution which had been carried out on all the 9.5 they had fixed for this condition and it is shimming.
mine has been done and they have not finished as yet because one side is still out os spec.
as it stands , they inserted 3 shims on both sides given the -2.3 on the left and -2.8 onthe right
they did this ont he basis of the alignment print out .
they then did another alignment and found that the left side is .05 out and the right is -1.5 out
and therefore they are re-doing the right side and inserting another shim here and will do another alignment .
i expect to get the car back on tuesday.
we will see
