Herb is correct.. Studded tires have there place but, on dry/wet roads they can be down right scary. The tires seem to float, drift at high speed and in corners. I never liked them.I always thought it sounded like bacon cooking when going slow down the road..lol
Between studs, soft sidewall and winter tread your car will behave very different from the summer tires.
I opt for good snow tire, no studs.
You can or have someone pull them out.
