Have 111,000 miles on my 01 Aero Wagon, have had very few problems with the car overall. Owned it for 5 years and bought it with 37k. My wife was driving on the interstate this morning and the car totally died while going 70 mph. Lucky not much traffic and was able to pull over on the side of the road. Outside temp was -1. Only about 20 minutes from home I was able to go and pick her up before she got too cold. I didn't have much time to diagnose the problem once I got her, as it wasn't the best place to hang out with cars wizzing by, I pushed it further away from the interstate as much as I could, but the car wouldn't start back up and made fast clicking noise, wouldn't crank. I also noticed the hazards had stopped working by the time I had gotton some belongings toghether and left the car. Battery is only a year old. No obvious signs of problems before this happened. Have kept it pretty well serviced. Thinking maybe the alternator?
