Replaced driver window rollers, now struggles to close. Posted by MikeJavo [Email] (#1093) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MikeJavo) on Mon, 8 Feb 2010 09:59:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I made sure the window closes only where it needs to go, and straightened out the left arm to the best of my ability, but upon reassembly, it feels like something is tight when I'm closing the last 10 inches. I can even hear the motor struggling, and don't want to burn it our. Is there something else I should be checking when I re-check the mechanism? It doesn't doesn't seem as smooth as it used to be.
I did notice that someone may have tried to break the window by prying a screw driver by the mirror triangle, but it's just soft rubber that's a bit mangled, and should interfere that much.
Thanks in advance.
