Good luck with that. If I were not a Saab freak to begin with, had my heart set on an M35, and I drove an M35 back to back with a 9-5... I don't think I would pick the 9-5. The M is a large, heavy, SOLID car with lots of bells and whistles. Getting into a 2007 9-5 after an M is going to feel like a tinny, cheap plastic happy meal toy. This is a perfect example of how far behind the competition Saab has been under GM's reign. The 9-5 is a decent car, handles well, and has gobs of power, but it's a whole different beast from the M35. As a Saab freak I would buy a 9-5 over an M any day, but if you're trying to convince your non-Saab-loving friend to buy a 9-5, I don't think there's going to be much to push her into it. Who knows, maybe she'll drive it and like the feel of it though!
