I have 193k on it. I have babied this car for 7 years. Here is my dilemma (please read past the first paragraph):

I just ran an AutoRx complete cycle then went back to Mobil 1 10/30 and K&N oil filter (it was 1/2 price). Before the Auto Rx, I ran Amsoil in it for years with either OE or Bosch oil filters. Anyway, as soon as I did the oil change I heard noise from the belt area. I knew my PS pump was going bad so I just replaced that. Still have the noise.

I saw a post where the high pressure AC line could cause a similar noise, so I made sure it was secure. Still have the noise.

I ran the car without serp belt, still have the noise.

I had the timing belt, tensioner, and pulleys changed by a reputable indy back in March 2005 when it had 172k miles on it with OE parts. So I'm nowhere near the 60k interval yet. Notionally I have 40k left before needing to change it.

Over the past 4 years I haven't driven it much, maybe only 7k miles.

The noise seems to be coming from behind the timing belt cover, so I'm thinking the Timing belt pulleys/tensioner might be hurting.

However, it just seems too coincidental that right after an oil change using Auto Rx back to synthetic that this noise starts.

Any thoughts?

I am stationed in Puerto Rico and the dealer here doesn't even work on their own car if it's not under warranty and there is only one "indy" here who doesn't even have a lift! So I really need some assistance.
