Thank you Ursaw for sharing your rattles experience. It is a shame how much I love and hate my 06 9-5 Aero. It is like the Aero has dual personalities- 1/2 SAAB, 1/2 Chevy Cavalier when it comes to build quality, driving experience, etc.
I so much want to love my SAAB. The radio issue (very subtle yet audioble high frequency noise coming from the speakers when I turn the volume up from the steering wheel and at the head unit. So far no one on this thread has any answers for me.
I have yet to have the time to bring the SAAB in (again) for the sunroof rattle. The service technician at Graham Chevrolet in Santa Barbara (they have one SAAB technician) is incompetant and generally disinterested in really finding a resolution to my service issue. The service advisors seem disaffected and "low rent" in general as they do not take their job very seriously and are there just for a paycheck. Probably the worst dealer experience next to Champion Audi (back in the late 1980's). It is ironic because Santa Barbara is a town filled with "disaffected," self absorbed, "lazy" nihilists. Too bad. It is beautiful here.
If Graham Chevrolet put just a little effort and dedication into their job maybe the dealer service department in general would have more business.
I do not get it.
