It does sound great.. When the braiding went on the flex section, I enclosed it with a 13" section of galvanized metal stove pipe from Home Depot. Secured it with three stainless 3" hose clamps. That lasted several years and sounded great. Passed yearly inspections with no problem.I would replace the metal sheath in the late spring.
It finally destructed after getting knocked off the hangers by deep snow at the end of last March.
I ordered a cat back from GS at the beginning of April and it was on back order until yesterday. It is en-route now.
There has only been the Cat section left on the car for a month and I love that too !!
Although the rear view mirror is tough to use cause of the vibration during acceleration...lol
