Checked High Speed Fan Relays, they appear to be working (at least the fans seem to be running at a fairly high speed).

Checked Recirculation Motor, does not seem to be working at least there was no change in airflow (however you can hear something being moved after you start up and shut down (always assumed these were vent doors opening and closing)

While checking these two items I just happened to have the hood open and heard a click click click click with a change in idle speed associated with it. Checked the compressor and it is on / off on / off. This is not normal operation I am pretty sure.

Am I looking at multiple issues? Is my compressor dying? What is a reasonable price for it to be changed out. It was 110 out today, not having AC is an issue. If the Compressor is on its way out, why does it seem to be only failing at stops?

Is this something that an Indy can do even if not Saab Certified?
Can I do it as a DIY (always heard that A/C is not a DIY item)

Can a used compressor be used, or must a new one be bought? If new what is the best source? EEuro is quoting $500.00 for a new one.

As to the Recirc door. I would assume at this time I need to pull the glove box and watch the operation of the motor see if it is the motor or the lever? This does look like a DIY object at least, if it is the motor EEuro has it at $262.00, if it is the arm then it is only $22.00. Guess what I am hoping for.

Need to get this fixed as I am going to be driving to Vegas in a week.
