9-5 Aero sale it or refresh paint?

My 2000 Aero is in great shape except for road rash on the hood, fenders and some stone chips. I don't use it much, it's sitting in the garage for weeks at a time because I have a company car. The rest of the body paint is in great shape. My dilemma is that I could either sell it and move on or have it repainted and keep it for a few more years. My experience with partial repainting a car has often been unsatisfying. I'm not sure I should spend over $3,000 on full paint job either. This car is a little out of the ordinary with a stage 4 ECU, sport exhaust, and all the exciting mods available. My company car is a boring automatic and the Aero is a 5spd which is much more satisfying to drive even with an outdated chassis.
What would you do? sell, repaint or keep it as-is taking chances that rust gets in the paint chips?
