I have the WIS and I've done the front rotors before. but the WIS isnt very clear on how to deal with the handbrake for the rear rotor (I am not replacing handbrake shoes BTW). WIS says to slacken the handbrake adjustment (via a screwdriver or tool through a hole in the rotor? just use something to turn teeth on it? which way? or will I be able to tell by trial?
then even worse is the WIS on adjusting it back after replacing the rotor. seems contradicting:
"step3. using a scerwdriver, unscrew the adjuster until brake is blocked" (is this the same teeth looking adjuster behind the rotor?)
"step4. Then, unscrew the adjuster until the brake disc can be turned"
(I dont get this. both steps say "unscrew the adjuster" but one impies it will tighten? "blocked?" and the same "usncrew" movement implies it will release: "until brake disc can be turned"
I'm sure I'm just not reading or thinking about it right. anyone done this job and can advise? thanks!
