Hi,
Has anybody any idea what's causing my 2001 aero to race on start up?
Cold start and it will race to 2500rpm and then settle back to 900 or so
warm start still races to 1500 1800rpm. Its an auto and always feels like the tickover is too high? so I need to keep touching the brakes to keep it at the limit in town.
I've replaced the air mass sensor and the coolant sender which has helped the gas mileage a bit and of course the engine light is on....
Car goes well, well more than well more like a jet!
Any bright ideas will be gratefully received,
