Minor issue with using a 2006 intake on a 1999 2.3

Initially thought the brass sensor that screws into the intake was the air temp sensor. However, it is "an air pressure sensor" I actually have two of these the other one is fitted to the the back of the engine and connects via a rubber hose to the metal intake pipe at the back of the engine.
Why all this matters is that I would like to use a 2006 intake/engine in a 1999 9-5. I am trying to resolve how to connect the 1999 air pressure sensor part 3171497 into the location where the air temp sensor 55560162 fits into the 2006 intake.
The hole for the 2006 air temp sensor is slightly bigger and simply presses into the intake and is secured with two screws. I thought about taping it and inserting a helicoil, but I suspect the hole is to big.
Any suggestions? I have seen posts on websites for other cars where people have drilled new places in the intake to move the air temp sensor closer to the throttle body.
