If you want to be really sure about this, you will need to remove the rear calipers complete with pads, and hang them from the rear spring or whatever. Then adjust the p-brake shoes to your satisfaction. That way you will take the rear pads out of the equation. However, there is always some rub from the pads on the rotor when they are fitted, but it is so minor I wouldn't worry about it-assuming your calipers are in good order, that is. Ian
