Hello all. So I've had a real saga trying to register the car so it's been sitting on the back burner, long story but NY DMV is the worst...
I spent some time on it yesterday and I noticed a strange PCV setup I've never seen before, maybe someone can help. The filler tube has a threaded nipple coming out around half way down the tube. The white PCV Check Valve is plugged into that and the valve cover nipple that it normally connects to is plugged. Anyone know what this is? Is this PCV#5,4 or 3? There's also some sludge on the top of the filler tube which has me worried, but I'm thinking maybe the check valve connecting there has caused the caking?? I spoke to the dealer that maintained the car for the previous 2 owners and he said I should not have a sludge issue, that the car has been maintained. I have the PCV#6 ready to install, probably next week. Any input would be welcome on this PCV setup.
One more question...can I use Pirelli 235/45/17 tires on the 03 Aero?
Thanks again!
Thanks again.
